Chinese government visits Tibetan protesters against Kamtok dam

Examples
Date

Following protests by residents of Dege county, government representatives visited homes in two villages due to be relocated to make way for the Kamtok hydropower dam. Cadres visited thousands of other villages looking for potential security risks and studying conflicts. Door-to-door visits collect information for the household information management system the Tibet Autonomous Region set up in 2023, but may also conduct interrogations to extract individual views of the Chinese Communist Party and its policies and strengthen social control.
