UK National Crime Agency warns schools about criminal use of pictures of children
The UK's National Crime Agency (NCA) warns schools that criminals may use AI tools to manipulate the images they publish of students. The warning follows reports by the Internet Watch Foundation of a case in which a UK school was blackmailed by a criminal gang threatening to publish such images.
The NCA recommend that schools remove identifiable images from their websites and social media.
