Some schools in Papua New Guinea use teacher biometrics

Following the 2024 announcement of a new biometric system for tracking teacher's attendance - Papua New Guinea' s Education Secretary has updated that a few schools in the National Capital District (NCD) have procured and installed the required devices. The devices will be rolled out throughout the NCD and then will be rolled out to the rest of the country dependent on funding.
