New report raises concerns about the use of facial recognition in Paraná schools
A new report produced by the Observatory of the Metropolises Núcleo Curitiba, JararacaLab and the LAVITS Network reviews the implementation of facial recognition in state public schools between 2022 and 2023 - and highlights issues that the authors believe may violate Brazil's data protection law - the LGPD.
