Amina Fahmy

Amina is a Legal Officer at Privacy International, and contributes to litigation, legal advocacy, and research in the areas of migration, economic justice, and authoritarian uses of technology. Amina manages the migration team. 

Amina holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Middle Eastern studies from Brandeis University, and J.D. from the University of California Berkeley. She is admitted to the Bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the US. Prior to PI, Amina was a staff attorney at the International Refugee Assistance Project in New York, and has extensive experience in international humanitarian and criminal law.
