Elena Abrusci
Elena Abrusci is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Brunel Law School, Brunel University of London. She is a human rights and digital technology expert with more a decade of experience, researching on regional human rights systems and the impact of AI and technology on human rights. She is the co-leader of the Brunel Research Group on 'Human Rights, Society and Arts' and she is the co-convener of the Interest Group on International Human Rights Law of the European Society of International Law (ESIL). She served for the UK Government as a Policy Advisor on Digital Regulation and she has experience advising governments, private companies and international organisations on digital regulation and human rights. She has published widely in the field of human rights, and she is the author of 'Judicial Convergence and Fragmentation in International Human Rights Law' (Cambridge University Press, 2023).
